More about the Hakvoort 71
Built by Hakvoort Maritiem in 1993, to a design by Pieter Beeldsnijder Design and with the ship design by Herman Jansen SSB.
The yacht has been owned by the same family since completion until the current owner took her over. The new owner has invested significantly in the yacht by completely updating the interior, reapplying the teak deck, and repainting the hull and superstructure.
Interior and layout
Originally the yacht was designed with three cabins and a crew cabin in the foreship (for four people), but the first owner chose to merge the two forward cabins into one generous, full-width cabin with ensuite bathroom.
The classic interior, designed by Pieter Beeldsnijder, accommodates six guests in three cabins: a full-width master cabin, a full-width VIP cabin and a twin guest cabin, each with an ensuite bathroom.
The spacious salon features a large seating area with room for eight guests and offers plenty of natural light through the large windows.
The upper deck offers plenty of space for sunbathing and outdoor dining or relaxing. The aft deck also features a dining table with seating for eight.
Motorization
Powered by two Cummins diesel engines of 240 hp each, the yacht achieves a cruising speed of 9 knots and a top speed of 10 knots, with a range of approximately 2,500 nautical miles.
The yacht is equipped with stabilizers for added comfort when at anchor.
